The Department of\u00a0Tourism of the\u00a0Municipality of Thessaloniki<\/strong>, as a member\u00a0of the UNESCO\u00a0Creative Cities Network\u00a0for Gastronomy, implements\u00a0initiatives that promote\u00a0gastronomy as a\u00a0driver of culture, education, and sustainable\u00a0urban development. Within\u00a0this framework, KATAKORYFO\u00a0SMPC<\/strong> was entrusted\u00a0with the organization\u00a0of\u00a0the gastronomic event\u00a0\"Yangin Var\", aimed at showcasing\u00a0Thessaloniki's gastronomic\u00a0identity, promoting local\u00a0food production, and\u00a0strengthening\u00a0the city's cultural\u00a0outreach.<\/p>\n

The event draws\u00a0its inspiration from\u00a0the historical expression\u00a0\"Yangin Var\", linking Thessaloniki's\u00a0collective memory with\u00a0contemporary culinary creativity. Through the participation\u00a0of renowned chefs, presentations of local\u00a0products, food tastings, and cultural activities, the event highlighted\u00a0the Mediterranean diet, regional\u00a0food production, and\u00a0creative culinary expression, offering visitors a\u00a0comprehensive cultural\u00a0and gastronomic experience.<\/p>\n
