Project Environment:
The Region of Attica commissioned KATAKORYFO SMPC to create and produce four thematic television videos aimed at informing and raising public awareness on preparedness and protection against wildfires, floods, earthquakes, and technological accidents.
This initiative was part of the Region’s efforts to strengthen civil protection and cultivate a culture of prevention and responsibility among citizens, using modern communication channels and audiovisual media.
The project aimed to produce short TV spots of up to 30 seconds each, combining high aesthetic quality with a clear social message and immediate audience recognition.
Project Scope:
KATAKORYFO SMPC undertook all processes required for the implementation of the project, from script development and direction to sketch-based graphics, filming, and final post-production.
The production team was organized according to the requirements of each thematic spot, while filming was carried out using high-resolution digital cameras and high-resolution drone footage. Where necessary, multiple camera setups were employed, utilizing stabilization equipment such as tripods, steadicams, and small cranes to ensure smooth movements and high-quality visual results.
During post-production, editing was performed on modern workstations, including color grading, image processing, integration of special effects, motion graphics, and 2D/3D animation. Sound design received particular attention, including voice-over recording and music composition, to achieve a final product fully aligned with the intended message of each spot.
The final video outputs were delivered in all required formats and resolutions (Full HD, PAL, MP4 H.264), according to the specifications of the Contracting Authority, suitable for television, online, and social media platforms.
Following the approval of the final scripts by the Civil Protection Directorate of the Region of Attica, production was completed with consistency, technical precision, and aesthetic coherence.
The project was successfully completed, producing four high-quality thematic TV spots, each dedicated to a critical category of natural or technological hazards: wildfires, floods, earthquakes, and technological accidents.
By combining live-action footage, sketch graphics, and animation, the videos achieved a distinctive aesthetic identity, making them engaging, understandable, and immediately communicable to the public.
Through this production, KATAKORYFO SMPC contributed significantly to enhancing citizen awareness and promoting the important work of the Region of Attica in the field of civil protection, leveraging its expertise in producing high-quality audiovisual content.
