Project Environment:
The Neapoli - Sykies Municipality assigned to KATAKORYFO SMPC the implementation of the project titled “Procurement of digital photographic material for the needs of the services of Neapoli - Sykies Municipality for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023.”
The Neapoli - Sykies Municipality is one of the most active and socially engaged municipalities in the metropolitan area of Thessaloniki, with a rich record of initiatives in education, culture, environmental awareness, social welfare, and local development.
The need to create a modern, well-documented, and organized digital photographic archive arose from the municipality’s effort to systematically record and highlight the wide range of activities and events carried out by its services, with the goal of preserving and promoting its work to the public.
Project Scope:
KATAKORYFO SMPC undertook the production, editing, and delivery of digital photographic material covering the diverse range of activities and events of the Neapoli–Sykies Municipality during the years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
The project included photographic coverage, processing, and technical editing of material from dozens of thematic areas, such as:

educational, cultural, and environmental activities in the municipality’s schools,

festivals and training seminars,
-
award ceremonies for students and volunteers,
-
social, artistic, and cultural events,
-
religious ceremonies, national and local celebrations,
-
inauguration events of municipal facilities, parks, and playgrounds,
-
activities of Civil Protection, Greenery, Cleaning, and Health departments,
-
as well as a wide variety of events dedicated to World Days, tree-planting initiatives, blood donation campaigns, and community actions.
The photographic documentation was carried out using professional high-resolution equipment, while post-processing followed modern digital optimization practices, ensuring visual consistency, color balance, and faithful representation of all recorded activities.
The final photographic material was delivered in digital format, organized by thematic category and year, suitable for use in web platforms, publications, presentations, and public screenings of the Municipality.
Through this project, a comprehensive and well-documented digital archive was created, capturing in full the dynamism, social contribution, and cultural identity of the Neapoli–Sykies Municipality.
KATAKORYFO SMPC contributed significantly to the preservation and promotion of the Municipality’s multifaceted work, through a unified, modern, and aesthetically consistent photographic representation of its activities.
