Project Environment:
Within the framework of its annual cultural events, the Municipality of Arta assigned KATAKORYFO SMPC the provision of comprehensive support, hospitality, and promotion services. The aim was to ensure the successful implementation and visibility of activities that enhance the city’s cultural life and tourism image.
The events covered the full range of the Municipality’s annual program — from religious and commemorative celebrations to major cultural and sports events such as the Byzantine Week, the Bridge Run, the Amvrakikos Gulf Crossing, and the Cultural Summer.
This collaboration aimed to create a complete experience for residents and visitors alike, through proper organization, high-quality services, and professional presentation of all activities.
Project Scope:
KATAKORYFO SMPC undertook the comprehensive implementation of support services for the Municipality of Arta’s annual cultural events. The project included:

Catering and receptions for guests, officials, and philharmonic members, with full catering organization, quality menus, and service during various events such as the Epiphany, Saint Theodora, the Municipal Memorial, and other commemorative activities.

Accommodation arrangements for speakers, official guests, and participants in events such as the Gastronomy Festival, the Jewish Community of Arta event, International Women’s Day, and the Cultural Summer.

Video recording of major sports and cultural events, including the Bridge Run and Amvrakikos Gulf Crossing, using camera and drone footage, high-definition video production, editing, and creation of promotional videos.

Advertising and promotion of the Municipality’s annual events program through the creation of TV and radio spots, graphic layouts, press releases, and promotional actions in print and digital media.

Decoration and setup of event venues, including the Church of Saint Theodora, the Gribovo Battle Monument, and the Jewish Martyrs Square.

Transportation of philharmonic bands and choirs for events such as Saint Theodora’s Day and Byzantine Week, ensuring safe and comfortable transfers from various locations.

Procurement of materials and awards, such as traditional jugs for the Holy Saturday custom, and medals or trophies for athletic events including the Treasure Hunt and the Night Run.
Through the successful implementation of these activities, KATAKORYFO SMPC significantly contributed to enhancing participant experience and effectively promoting the Municipality of Arta’s cultural program — supporting its overall organization with professionalism and consistency.
